Well, aside from voracious reading of Fran Lebowitz, Dennis Miller, and anyone else who'd make cutting remarks about the world around them, Bruce Campbell's (yes, the Army of Darkness guy) was the seed that was planted in my brain that eventually drove me to put my rantings in blog form.
