...'cause I'm movin' out!

We've got this room and the bathroom all packed up. The bedroom's all organized, and stuff just needs to be thrown into receptacles. The kitchen is going to be the biggest pain in the @$$, though. But, we've still got a couple of days, not counting the time we're gonna see my 'rents and some friends in Colubus.

packing up

I haven't been this excited about moving since I moved away from home ;).

I feel for you! I am loading another truck with strange and unnamable objects for transport to NY myself.

I may even pass you on the road, ya never know.

B: Apartment? That's just the living room stuff, dude.

G: Thanks!

M: I'm still trying to figure out just how to pack my "strange and unnamable objects" to not make them readily obvious.

For anything shorter than your leg, get an old pair of jeans and stuff the legs full of interesting items, then tie them with handy cord.

"For anything shorter than your leg, get an old pair of jeans and stuff the legs full of interesting items, then tie them with handy cord." And if you "accidently" make cut-off's it's all good, since we're in a heat wave :)

The key is not only not obvious, but inaccessable. This is important when flying and checking bags containing this stuff. The scanner will pick it up. But if it is packaged in a way that is inaccessable to you it doesn't worry them. Not to mention they won't take the time to unpack it in customs. Duct tape and lots of bags/carboard. For in the states, if the authorities believe it to be inaccessable in any situation, they will pass. 'cept maybe in the deep south, all bets are off.
